Markki Escape Hatch is a type-approved emergency exit for installation in balcony floors. The most fire-safe escape hatch on the market meets fire insulation class EI90 in sizes 620 mm x 620 mm and EI60 in sizes up to 820 mm x 820 mm.

The hatch is equipped with a hinged ladder that opens when the lower cover is unlocked. The lower cover is factory-made and therefore always corresponds to the cover tested in fire tests.

The standard color of fire doors is gray RAL 7035. The upper and lower covers are always painted in the desired colors according to the building project.

Markki safety ladders are durable, high-quality Finnish products designed for northern weather conditions. The safety ladders serve as emergency escape routes from upper floors in conjunction with side shift pipes.

Markki safety ladders are made of hot-dip galvanized steel. Frame lengths 1.2, 2.1, 2.7, 3.3, and 4.2 meters, extendable. The ladder rungs are roughened to increase friction and ensure safe movement on the fire ladder. The safety ladder is attached to the wall structure with separate safety ladder feet and top brackets.

Standard colors Galvanized, RR33 black, RR32 dark brown, RR20 white, RR23 dark gray, RR29 red, RR750 brick red, RR21 light gray, RR11 pine green, and RR22 gray. In addition to the standard colors, safety ladders can also be supplied in the exact color designed for your project.

The 3 m retractable safety ladder is a convenient and safe escape solution for small houses in the event of a fire. Also available in 4.2 m length and as a ladder set for apartment buildings. When the ladder is closed and the steps are hidden inside the aluminum profile, uninvited climbers and children, for example, cannot climb up the ladder from below. There is no opening mechanism at the bottom of the escape ladder, so it cannot be opened from below.
