Roof Safety Range

MARKKI roof bridges are used as extensions to wall and roof ladders to create safe passageways to maintenance points located on roofs. Thanks to its design, the Markki roof bridge ensures good grip on the passageway in all weather conditions.

MARKKI roof bridges are CE marked and meet the requirements of standard EN 516:2006. The range includes fasteners for all roof types for installing roof bridges. Class 2 roof bridges can also be fitted with the necessary safety equipment in accordance with the requirements of the building site. The range includes safety railings, safety rope attachment points, and horizontal rails. The Markki horizontal rail can be used on both sides of the roof bridge thanks to its unique design.

The warehouse selection includes 3 m and 1.2 m roof bridges, which can be extended by overlapping them. Roof bridge fasteners are available individually or in installation kits. Depending on the roof, the fastener spacing is 1-1.2 m. Standard colors are RR33 black, RR32 dark brown, RR23 dark gray, RR29 red, RR750 brick red, RR21 light gray, RR11 pine green, and RR22 gray. In addition to the standard colors, we can also deliver roof walkways and fasteners in the exact colors your project requires with a quick delivery time.

Markki PRO roof ladders make moving around on the roof safe. The ladders are CE marked and meet the requirements of standard EN 12951. The roughening of the Markki Pro ladder frame is made using a completely new patented manufacturing method that does not compromise the durability, corrosion resistance, or usability of the ladder. Can be installed in accordance with class 1 or 2.

Markki ladders are made of hot-dip galvanized steel and powder coated. Frame lengths are 1.2, 2.1, 2.7, 3.3, and 4.2 meters, and the frames are extendable. The ladder has a tread width of 400 mm and a rung diameter of 25 mm. Standard colors are RR33 black, RR32 dark brown, RR23 dark gray, RR29 red, RR750 brick red, RR21 light gray, RR11 pine green, and RR22 gray.

Handrails, safety rails, or step platforms are available as accessories for roof ladders installed in accordance with Class 2. In addition to the standard colors, roof ladders can be delivered in any color to suit your needs.

Roof ladder feet are available for all roof types and can be purchased individually or as installation kits. The maximum installation interval for roof ladder feet is 1.4 m.

Markki PRO wall ladders are durable, high-quality Finnish products designed for northern weather conditions. The roughened surface of the ladder significantly increases friction in all conditions and ensures stable and safe movement on roofs, chimneys, and other roof structures. Wall ladders serve as a permanent access route to the roof of a private home or public building. Wall ladders are tested and meet the requirements of national legislation.

Markki wall ladders are made of hot-dip galvanized steel. Frame lengths are 1.2, 2.1, 2.7, 3.3, and 4.2 meters, and the frames are extendable, with a step width of 400 mm and a rung diameter of 25 mm. The wall ladder is attached to the wall structure with wall brackets, which are available in lengths of 0.2 m, 0.3 m, 1.0 m, 1.2 m, and 1.5 m. Wall ladder attachment parts are available individually or in installation kits. The upper arches of the access ladder are attached to the roof, roof bridge, or roof ladder to ensure safe access.

Standard colors: Galvanized, RR33 black, RR32 dark brown, RR20 white, RR23 dark gray, RR29 red, RR750 brick red, RR21 light gray, RR11 pine green, and RR22 gray. Wall ladders are available with optional back protection, safety rail (climbing rail), and climbing barrier in the same color as the house ladder. In addition to the standard colors, wall ladders can also be delivered in the exact color required for your project.

Markki snow guards help prevent dangerous situations caused by uncontrolled snow or ice falling from roofs. Snow guards also protect roof structures and penetrations.

Markki snow guards are available as two- or three-pipe pipe snow guards, as well as in a grid model as snow fences and eaves guards. Additional profiles are available for both pipe snow guards and snow fences to ensure that even the smallest amount of snow and ice cannot pass through the snow guard.

When dimensioning a snow guard, the roofing material, roof slope and shape, eave length, roof structures, snow load area, and possible snow accumulation must be taken into account. The maximum fastening distance for snow guard brackets is specified in the installation instructions. For long roof lengths, the fastening spacing is increased or snow guards are installed in several rows on the roof. The selection includes snow guard fasteners for every type of roof. Snow guards and grid-type snow fences have a standard length of 3 m and can be extended. Snow guard fasteners are available individually or in installation kits.
